With winter almost upon us here in NY, saving energy is on our minds. The winter may not be as good to us this year as it was last year. One way to help save energy (in the long run) is to invest in a tankless water heater for your home. If you were to have a demand-based water heater, hot water would only be provided when it was actually needed which will help you to save money on energy costs. Without the use of a storage tank, these tankless options can heat water directly. As the hot water tap is activated, it will travel as cold water and then get heated by either an electric element or gas burner. Therefore, hot water will be available on demand and you don’t have to wait for a traditional storage tank to fill up before taking a bath. So consider investing in a tankless water heater and save some energy this winter! Leave a Reply. |
