Do you need a new roof? Many of us here have a flat roof (anything 2/12 slope or under). So what is the best roofing material for your new roof?
Many people run right to rubber roofing material. Don't get me wrong, it is a great roofing material. But have you ever considered TPO? TPO roofing is, for lack of a better description, a lot like a pool liner. The advantages is that it is commercial grade - so it is durable, light colored - so it is not as susceptible to heat problems, it has less seams - so less of an opportunity for water to get in, and it is almost completely maintenance free.
What's the down side? Cost. Like anything good, it is expensive. But if it is in your budget, consider getting a TPO roof.
